Etudes–Richard Wagner: The Ride of the Valkyries (Reprise)

Watch this version of Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries which was staged at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in 2019. The orchestra is there but not in the picture. The video focuses completely on the staged performance of the Valkyries themselves, here fully costumed and riding into the fray on giant planks. The music is the same as that played by the Trondheim Symphoniorkester of the previous video, but its presentation is much different.
